I used to think that I wanted a big house on a hill and a Range Rover Sport in my garage. Now, fancy homes and fast cars I’m sure are enjoyable, but what happens when you have them? Someone else gets a fancier home and a faster car. You will probably never have it all, but something you can have right now is the satisfaction of a job well done. The Bible says:
So I saw that there is nothing better for a man than to enjoy his work, because that is his lot. For who can bring him to see what will happen after him? Ecclesiastes 3:22 (NIV)
And then, almost at the end of Ecclesiastes Solomon Says:
Now all has been heard;
here is the conclusion of the matter:
Fear God and keep his commandments,
for this is the whole duty of man.
Ecclesiastes 12:13 (NIV)
I am a missionary and I live on other people’s generosity. I don’t miss having a car and I don’t miss my home theatre system. I live a very satisfyed and enjoyable doing the work that God has given me.
Love God, Love what you do, and enjoy your life. Now you know what you were put on earth for.

If you can accomplish this - you’ve learn’t what some people take a lifetime to fiqure out!! Keep focusing on the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.
