I got this questionnaire in my inbox a few days ago. While normally I hate stupid forwards this one actually shared a lot of interesting facts about the person who sent it to me, so while I am not publishing the email I got, here is my response.

I sent this to 39 people and have so far seen 8 replies to it. That’s a pretty good ratio, except that niether Rudy, Beth, or Kirsten have actually responded.

    Amen. Fight Club is a great movie! I probably would’ve added Schindler’s List to that group… or Snatch, but that’s neither here nor there.

    I never reply to such surveys - haven’t since I was in college (I didn’t have email in high school or I’m sure I would’ve replied then, too… yes, I am that old), and then it was only to a few people, like my sister and cousin. But you filling one out kinda makes me laugh. Hehe! Btw, good job including links to each of your responses. You may deny it, but this proves you’re a techie after all. (And yes, I do know how to make links, I just think they’re more-than-a-little annoying mid-post.)

    Nathan, I was limited to four choices. Schindlers List is amazing and does fit the description in spot four. I loved the movie Snatch it was so funny but it didn’t challenge me to change and as a result remained out of the list. That or I just forgot.

    And Beth, links are cool, I saved you the effort of having to google any of the key phrases in my post, get over it.

    I’m replying on behalf of Rudy since he let you down this time Jamie. I believe Rudy would say that a person can’t be summed up in a two minute survey especially when they’re as complex as you my friend. Also thanks for mentioning that you miss us folks back in La Crete (sniffle), I’m gonna give you a big brotherly love hug when I see you in 2 WEEKS!!!!

    Yes, it’s Gabby from church in Málaga. Have you looked into the possibility of boating, as in row boating, or canoeing, in the reservoir in EL CHORRO (about 50km from Málaga)? Even if you can’t do any watersports in the end, the sights are definitely worth seeing. Really.

    Fortunately for our relationship, we’ve been able to be very honest about where the Lord is taking us both. I’m not into the social dating scene, so when I began to tell her about me, I was very open and honest about what the Lord has made me to do right now. The more we’ve discussed things, the more realize we want to go to Spain together, which wouldn’t disappoint me one bit.

    Gabby, thanks for the tip on El Chorro, I have heard of this place, I just haven’t been able to get out there yet.

    Nathan, please respond to the topic at hand, me. You can comment about your new girlfriend back at your site, trust me, I’ll read it.

    And Kirsten, really, I don’t respond to lame forward that are like forward this to ten people and all your wishes will come true, because they really are lame. But in this one I shared real, genuine information about myself in hopes that I might learn more about others. But now your lame because you wouldn’t respond to my cool email. Even my brother responded, and he doesn’t send more then 3 emails a year!

    Hey Jamie!! This is actually just Tonia. I’m bored at work so I went looking for your web site, and I found it! Its great to hear what your doing, and I love all the pictures you post!
    And I’m a sucker for those kind of emails too, even the stupid, “all your wishes will come true” ones, except if i get more than one of the same one. Its good to hear from you though. See-ya
