A major video shoot, changing places are the main highlights.
- The Video Shoot
-
There have been highs and there have been lows but glory to God things have been getting done. We have recorded so far 39 new episodes of “On The Road” (not including a few redoes). We have encountered every kind of success (scripts of right length, clear speech, functional equipment, attentive operators) and most every kind of failure (a finicky sync generator, script problems, etc.) but it is satisfying that it’s now Friday afternoon and there are only two or three episodes to go. We really should finish on time.
- Moving
-
I am now living in my third unique home since I moved to Spain, not bad for seven and a half months of being here I should say. The only bummer is that this move was more or less unexpected and with all the other things that I have to do this month, quite unwelcome. However, glory be to God that I still live with the attitude of “This is not my home” and as a result of that I could get nearly nearly all my stuff into my backpack and my suitcase and move it all in one trip.
- It Came! All over again
-
I got a package in the mail yesterday from my mom filled with wrapped presents labeled “no peeking.” I’ve got no problem with that, my only question is, do I observe North American gift opening day? or Spanish gift opening day? The spanish won’t open presents till the sixth of January. I guess right now I live in Spain, so we’ll see if I can resist the temptation until then.
- Getting Sick
-
Here I am hours away from my first visit to Barcelona and I have some nasty stomach flu. I don’t want to point fingers but all indications are going back the to catered salmon I ate for lunch yesterday. Anyway, the last 24 hours have not been pleasant.

Well, Jamie sorry to here that you are under the weather. I can feel with you. I have been sick (with a cold) for a week. I trust you will have a great time in Barcelona. Look forward to reading all about it.
