Aside from the general business of Christmas not a whole lot has been going on around here. To keep myself business I have been roaming the streets of Spain for nearly the last month with a video camera and the intent to record on film anything related to Spain and Christmas.

While not entirely work or ministry related, it’s something major that happened this week. I was pleasantly surprised with the loot Santa posted a few weeks early, and in an effort to make Christmas feel a little more like Christmas back home I observed the full three mennonite days of Celebration (the 25th, 26th, and 27th), which did not leave a lot of time for work this week.

A while back I decided I wanted to do something a little special this Christmas and I wanted it to be video related (I also wanted it to be finished by Dec. 25th, but that really was an impossibility). As a result I have one of our work camera’s out on the streets of Seville, Barcelona, and more recently Malaga. It’s looking good, I’m excited to see what the final product will look like.

Prank! Yesterday was the Spanish April Fools. My coworker Brandon and I went ahead and got into the bosses office and removed everything from artwork, to chairs to anything sitting on his desk and then set up a camera to record his reaction to what had happened. It was good, and it counts as work because it’s part of the Christmas season here and I got it on tape. We intended to be a little malicious but in the end it all worked out for the better.

I had really intended to not forget this day as you had mentioned it previously, but I’m not a good ‘April Fools’ in April, let alone December ………. can’t wait to see the video
