I’m asking for reader input. On this coming January the 14th at approximately 11:20 a.m. MST I will be speaking live via the internet to my home church, the La Crete Christian Fellowship and I am wanting to know from those of you who read my site and care about my work what you would like hear about.
But I can’t be at that Church at that time so why should I offer any input? I’ll tell you why. I am going to be recording what happens and within a few hours of this event terminating you will be able to see what transpired via a not so live video on this web site.
I’ve wanted to do something like this since even before I left for Spain to show just how far internet and technology has brought communication. To best demonstrate advanced technology this is going to be a two-way interview style presentation as most people have seen video on the internet, but not many people have seen live two-way video conversation through the internet.
So back to the main reason I’m posting this, what do you want to hear about? i’ve gotten a few suggestions so far including:
- Where am I serving and who are we reaching?
- What happens here on a day to day basis?
- Why am I doing what I’m doing?
- What are some of the big differences between living in Spain and North America?
- What kind of an impact has missions had on me?
You have until January 13th at which point I’ll go through the comments and pick a few.

Allo Jamie,
Well finally, with your tenure almost over you are going to send us some update of your mission. Since we have MSN’d quite extensively I have a good idea of what you do and what you’ve been up to, but, for the masses that have not had the privledge of talking to you I think they want to know about the above mentioned points. Where you are (specific location - a map would be good), what you do for Avant; what you are doing for the people of Spain, Algeria, Europe, etc; how you have been changed/impacted; do you miss home; will you continue/go back after March; what have you liked best; what have you not liked; encouraging others to follow in your footsteps.
Thats my two-cents worth, take it for what it is.
