This week was spent more at work than the week previous but that doesn’t say a lot now does it. This week was spent in the more simple pleasures of web design, grocery shopping and video editing.

The last while I have been out and about with a camera a lot and this week I finally sat down and digitized the footage I got. It was fun and slow and out of a couple hours of tape I got at least an hour of good footage, we’ll see what happens.

The majority of the week was spent in designing what will eventually be the new version of the site. Mostly right now it’s coming down to how should it look, it needs to change to accommodate some of the new technology that is going to be implemented, but how much and to what are the questions that I’ve been scratching my head over lately.The hardest part about designing this site is that it’s for a culture with which I have no real affinity. This site deserves to be the coolest site on the web, but I don’t really know what North Africans think is cool.Anyway, what has been nice about this project is I’ve been able to give the newest beta of Adobe Photoshop a test drive and it’s really awesome.

Team Meeting Next Week

This really only just barely deserves to be a foot note on the bottom of this page but in an effort to make it seem like I really actually do stuff here it is: Next Tuesday is team meeting day and I made a short video of the prank Brandon (the newest addition to the team) and I did on December 28th to show everyone at work. It should be fun to watch for everyone and maybe even will make it onto the web but it’s not really work or ministry related.
