The last two weeks have been amazing and here is what I can say about them. These updates will return to their regularly scheduled timeslot of Friday mornings, Friday February 2nd.
- Asdika.org
-
Designing the layout of the new asdika.org site continues, I feel the layout is nearing completion, which feels good. On a side note, Wordpress, the free software that is going to be powering this site, just released an update that improves support for languages written right to left, I have not had time to investigate what this means for me in my development but I am very excited about it.
- Madrid
-
While not officially a ministry related trip, I was in Madrid from the 18th-22nd of this month. I had wanted to see the capital city of Spain for a very long time and had even scheduled a trip to visit a friend (and by friend I mean someone I had never met) last summer before the Camino de Santiago but it never happened. However, on that date I forced myself out of my comfortable home to see the capital city and to follow up with some friends made during the Camino. Not as much follow up happened during the trip becuase I lost (and in all likely-hood was robbed of) my phone just before I got to Madrid.
- Espionage
-
I’m pretty sure that missions might even be better than being a spy. The entrance requirements are a lot lower (I think, I’ve never applied for a job in official espionage) but you generally get all the travel benefits along with an element of danger, especially when dealing with the persecuted church. So I would just like to report that I am back from an encouraging field assignment.
