These are getting to be far from weekly, and for that I apologize. Now that I have robbed my self of any thunder I may have had I would like to share a mostly official report of the last week and maybe even the last three weeks (yes it has been that long).
The first thing worth noting is that in my ongoing project with Asdika.org I have finally moved into the writing of the server-side code that will very shortly power the site. In the unlikely event that everything goes according to plan this site could actually be live early next week, but working in a language as different from english as arabic does not make the job easy.
Secondly, I would like to mention that despite starting late, I have joined in the spirit of lent and have given up a few things until Easter. Those things being; Movies, Television, Video Podcasts, YouTube and any video found on the web, News via RSS and Milk. I don’t know that I should elaborate but for the sake of your curiosity I am giving up video to make more time for reading and seeing friends, I am giving up news via RSS but it was distracting me from my work and milk because I couldn’t find any when I was making breakfast the morning that I made this decision and I thought that it was easier to swear it off than to go to the store and by some.
Also of note, later on today I intend to go downtown and buy a flashlight and a tent, I want to camping and those are the only items that I am currently lacking.
