I have been away and I am not in the least bit sad to say that I didn’t miss being away from my website at all. It’s just after lunch on Monday, March 12th and I have a lot to share but very little time to put thoughts to words so what follows is a brief summary of where I’ve been, a short video, and a song.
I was in Morocco from March second to the tenth of the year of our Lord 2007. We were five, Ripley, Briana, Beth, Brandon and Myself and we landed in the port at Tangier. From there we took the shortest bus ride to Meknes that we could find, saw what Meknes had to offer and then we took off for Fez where spent two days. After Fez we had our own private guide take us into the desert where I had the opportunity to sleep under the stars of the Sahara desert and to ride a flying saucer down a sand dune after watching the sun come up on the hot Moroccan sand. We then went to Ourzazate where we checked out some Kasbah’s before heading through the High Atlas Mountain Pass to Marrakech. In Marrakech I ate sheeps brain and snails.
Those are the highlights. Below are links to some photos (More are on there way), a short video, and a song that was invented while I was out camping in the Sahara (it will never be played again and this pathetic recording is all that you will ever have the privilege of hearing)

Berber Music (300kb)
Those are the highlights. Also worthy of note, I spent a night in a Spanish town called Tarifa and the beaches there are the best I’ve seen in the entire world. Watch for Reports on the way for Malta, Tarifa, Barcelona (The Untold Story), Meknes, Fez, Merzouga/The Sahara, Ourzazate, Marrakech, and Morocco in general. I think it might be time for me to write my own book.
