- Opulent adj
-
Ostentatiously rich and luxurious or lavish: the opulent comfort of a limousine.
I learned this word from my educated spanish friend, Dani. We were walking around Stockholm one fine afternoon when he decided he wanted to practice his english and share with me a little about the royal palace in Stockholm. He told me that he felt that it was very opulent. I said “what?” He said “Opulento?” I said I didn’t know what he was talking about.
He then proceeded to give me the definition you’ve already read and I told him that I didn’t doubt that opulent was a word I just didn’t know it. So when I got home I looked it up and sure enough, it’s in the dictionary, just like the word schadenfreude, but I’ll save that one for another week.

I’m sure your post, like always, will be opulent!
