I finished my eight week long road trip last Wednesday night (Sept. 6, 2007) at 22:40 and in all honesty, it was time. I really don’t think that I can handle more than six consecutive weeks of aimless wandering.
In the last five days since I finished my travels I’ve had my hands tied with one random job after another. The day after I got back the general manager from my old work called me and asked if I could come repair a computer, then my dad asked if I would update the Nor-Alta Aviation website and brochure with some new services they’re offering, then I needed to do a full erase and reinstall of windows on his laptop which was not an easy task, then my old work called again with a broken computer, then I had to explore what kinds of online booking software for airlines existed so that we might some day have online bookings on our website and now I am supposed to represent Nor-Alta Aviation on the weekend at some trade show and then next week I am going to be filling in for the shipper/reciever position at the local John Deere.
So thats what’s up in my world. Tomorrow I am going to head on down to Edmonton for the day with my dad and take care of some personal business and it shouldn’t be long before pictures and stories of my travels make it online.
